Units
A skill is split into units, which unlock once you have completed the ones they build on. A unit is completed once everything in it is learnt, and it stays completed. If you already know it, you can skip ahead with a test. With at most 1 mistake, the units are done.
Units that are unlocked can be taken together, also those you have completed: choose Take several units together and click them, and the lessons mix their facts.
Only your first answer counts. A lesson you close on the way can be continued for a day.
Learnt and mastered
The same thing can be asked several ways, such as recognising it, finding it on the map or typing it.
- Learnt: right every way.
- Mastered: right every way in 3 lessons in a row.
- Prove it again: mastered, but not proven for 30 days.
A wrong answer starts the run over, and the question comes back until you get it right.
Refresh
Refresh takes your mistakes first, then what you have not mastered, then the rest. The Refresh tab shows what you have not proven for 14 days.
Ranks
Apprentice: half learnt. Journeyman: all learnt. Master: half mastered. Grandmaster: all mastered.
Your rank can drop if you take a break. There are no streaks and no leaderboards.
